After a good long weekend in May, your Association has a long TO-DO List and a growing list of activities planned to make your summer at Dyers Bay enjoyable.
Sunday JUNE 4– At noon, up by the parking lot, greet the Bruce Trail 50th Anniversary Baton as it is carried from Niagara Falls to Tobermory. Be part of the relay chain! Or join one or both of the two short hikes! See Greet the Bruce Trail Baton for details
Saturday July 1– A full day celebrating Canada’s 150th Birthday, starting with the CANADA DAY PARADE at noon, lead by Parade Marshall Ron Baker (FooFoo the Not-So-Scary Clown?), with a CONTEST for best costumes in various categories. Following the parade, we sing the Canadian and USA national anthems, enjoy the BOOK and BAKE SALE, stuff our faces at the FAMILY FEAST, then at 4PM, participate at the General Meeting, including Mayor Milt McIvor providing Municipality highlights and taking questions. A busy day is capped off at 9:30 with our biggest-ever FIREWORKS display off the dock. Details at Dyers Bay Association Events.
