WHO can join?
Association Member – Anyone with a residence at or near Dyer’s Bay, and their family members, may become a full Association Member, with the right to vote on Association business, get the Member Rate on certain events, and the right to become a Director. Memberships are $25 Cdn. per person, accompanied by a Membership Form.
Lifetime Member – This category of member is PENDING MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL. Anyone meeting the conditions for Full Association Member may become a Lifetime Member. That membership is transferable to another family member who owns the same residence at Dyer’s Bay, and expires when no member of the family owns a residence at Dyer’s Bay.
HOW do I sign up? We make it easy by offering 5 ways to sign up for membership. We encourage you to sign up by June 1, but memberships may be purchased anytime before September 30. Membership forms are available (print the Membership Form) or in the clubhouse. Cheques must be drawn on a Canadian bank and cash must be Canadian currency. See the new online membership payment option below for a convenient way to use a US credit card.
- Attend any Association event like the Welcome Back Social at the clubhouse at 7PM on Saturday evening of the Victoria Day Weekend. At that event, you build your own ice cream sundae, sign up by cash or cheque and meet your neighbours and new friends. See the Events page on this site for details of Association events.
- Visit an Association Director with your Membership Form (print the Membership Form) and cash or cheque made out to Dyer’s Bay Association. You might get coffee!
- Mail a cheque made out to Dyer’s Bay Association and a completed membership form (print the Membership Form) to Treasurer Sandy Tellier at 4 Gower Road, Georgetown L7G 1E5
- E-mail an e-transfer to dyersbayassoc@gmail.com using your online banking account. In a second e-mail, send the password for the e-transfer and attach a completed Membership Form. You will first need to fill out and save the membership form before attaching it to the second e-mail message.
- NOW AVAILABLE! Use online membership payment. Though we like to see your smiling face at Dyers Bay, you can now sign up while wearing your pajamas at home! Visit Shop under Membership on this website. Like other online shopping sites, the first time you visit, you will be asked to set up an account with a password, a good idea if you want to avoid typing in your information every time you visit the online shop. This option will also seamlessly allow payment in US dollars at the prevailing exchange rate. Your credit card statement will show the converted amount in US dollars (example $18.50)
